Came within 24 hours to fix a new light fitting. What a nice guy! Courteous, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. SMG Electrical Services were responsible for all items electrical on a total refurbishment on an older property, which is now our new home. As work progressed, there were some changes to the original drawings which Stephen took all in his stride, contributing some great suggestions and maintaining a very high standard of workmanship. If only all trades people were as good as this chap.

I can’t speak highly enough of Stephen. Responded so fast to my message, I’d barely blinked. He came to suss the job to figure parts, etc almost immediately. He fitted an upscale toilet seat, electrical as well as plumbing and came the next day to carry the work out, Brilliant job done, Neat, clean and quick too as well as polite and charming, A pleasure to have in my home. A definite 10/10 for this man!

Stephen Gillott is our hero! He came to our rescue one evening, before he’d had a chance to eat his dinner, and found out why our electrics kept tripping. He is the nicest man you could ever meet. He is skilled, professional and someone that you can totally rely upon. He will now be our first, and in fact only, ‘port of call’ whenever we need an electrician. We cannot speak of him highly enough. We are in our 70’s and were very stressed about the problem we had and he really looked after us – what more can you ask for. Fantastic service.

We’ve used SMG on a number of occasions and we’ve been very pleased with the quality of workmanship and cleanliness. He provides this service at a very good price. He has been flexible when we needed some urgent work. He also fitted our Nest Thermostat controller – we would never go back to a traditional programmer and controller. We would recommend and will continue to use SMG.
